Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Adrian Deenan Witt Davis, born on February 15, 1966, in Statesville, North Carolina, peacefully departed this life on August 30, 2026, in Burlington, North Carolina, at the age of 60. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Adrian dedicated much of her career to the manufacturing field, where she worked diligently as an assembler. Her commitment and work ethic were admired by colleagues and friends alike. Beyond her professional life, Adrian found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a profound love for swimming and cherished her moments at the beach, where she felt most at peace. Music was another of her passions, often filling her home with melodies that brought warmth and happiness to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Witt, and her husband, Alex Davis. Adrian leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory: her devoted children, Jermaine Witt, Curtis Davis, and Dana Barksdale; her caring mother, Sallie Blackwell-Witt; birth mother, Gail White; and her siblings, Charles "Junebug" White and his wife Erica, Scottie Wilkins, Tonika Witt, Tasha White, and Sheila Johnson. Adrian was also the proud grandmother of Jaden Witt, Curtis Davis Jr., Riley Davis, Oakland Davis, and Julianna Witt. She is fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Alecha Davis; her uncle, Douglas Blackwell; her aunts, Jane Farmer, Shelia Rucker, Avis Turner, and Carolyn Thomas; and her nieces, Diamonds Witt and Kirstan Witt. Gail White, a special family member, also holds her dear in heart.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 1 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m at Greater New Mt. Olive Church. Pastor Carolyn Gilmore will officiate the services as family and friends gather to celebrate Adrian's life and bid her farewell.

Adrian Deenan Witt Davis lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to her family. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace.
