Barbara Evans

Barbara Jean Evans, 88, passed away on June 12, 2025 at Mountain Valley SECU Hospice Care Center in Yadkinville, NC.

Barbara was born on June 13, 1936 in North Carolina to the late Sherrill and Dolly Campbell Harris.Barbara loved the Lord, she was a member of Society Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. In her spare time she liked to relax and watch The Andy Griffin Show, she also enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music and loved dance.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sons, Tony Evans and Tracy Evans and two sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, James Herman Evans; daughter, Gail Mitchell; grandchildren, Matthew Mitchell and Brandon Mitchell; great grandchildren, Seth, Kaylee, Karlee and Mason; sister, Geraldine Daniel.
