Betty Ann Greenwalt Goode

Betty Ann Greenwalt Goode, 82, of Hiddenite, NC passed away Tuesday, August 9th, 2022.



Betty was born in West Virginia on May 7, 1940, to Warren Greenwalt and Louise Phoebe Jarrett Greenwalt. She graduated from Doddridge County High School in 1958. Mrs. Goode worked as a secretary for several realtors in Charlotte NC. She married Dr. Thomas Vance Goode III in April 1963. For the next 20 years she dedicated her time to taking care of her family and raising her children before returning to the workforce in retail management until she retired. Betty was a member and attended Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.



Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, daughters, Judy Goode and Phoebe Goode Blowe, stepdaughter, Mary Ann Goode.



She is survived by her son, Thomas Vance Goode IV (Joshua Snipes Goode) of Hiddenite, NC; sister, Etta Lamm; grandsons, Galen, Ian, and Owen Blowe.
