Billie Carol Holland left this world of pain and sorrow from Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem and entered into the joy of the Lord on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Mrs. Holland was born in Forsyth County, North Carolina on February 16, 1958. She was born again in 1976 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Olin, NC. She married her teenage sweetheart on December 20, 1975. She and her husband Rev. Roger Holland lived a life of faithful service to the Lord, together they founded Liberty Baptist Church and Liberty Baptist Church College. She was a godly example of a Pastors wife; she loved her church and her church family and was the pianist for 35 years. Mrs. Holland received her doctorate degree in theology from Liberty Bible College and served many roles in the school. Mrs. Holland was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who know her.
She is preceded in death by her son, Joseph Shane Holland and daughter, April Michelle Holland.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Holland; grandson, Gabriel Loggins; sister, Susan Cook; nieces, Jettie Minnish and Misti Minnish.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 6PM till 8PM at Nicholson Funeral Home in Statesville.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 2PM at Liberty Baptist Church located at 2430 Wilkesboro Hwy Statesville, NC 28625. Those officiating over the service will be Pastor Ronnie Wooten, Pastor Talmadge Hollar and Pastor Mike Burchette. Pallbearers are Gabriel Loggins, John Walker, Jesse Walker, Adam Harris, Kenny Dellinger, Jeff Hartness and Chase Hartness.
