Brenda Ann Smith

Brenda Ann Jarvis Smith, 65, of Statesville, died February 17, 2017 at the Gordon Hospice House. Born in Elkin, N.C. on March 30, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Richard Jarvis and Vannie Childress Jarvis. She was a C.N.A. Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Branson and her husband Buddy and Wilma Jones and her husband, William; a son, Frankie Campbell and wife Joy; two sisters, Patricia Markle and Wanda Benton; along with several grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday at Houstonville Baptist Church with Brother William Souther officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 until 2:00 Monday prior to the service. Nicholson Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
