Brenda Carol Black, born on July 13, 1960, in Iredell County, NC, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, at the age of 66, at Rosewood Assisted Living in Harmony, NC. Brenda was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.Brenda dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked for the Aramark Corporation as a cook at the Davie County Detention Center before taking on the noble role of caring for her mother full-time. 

Her compassionate nature extended beyond her family, as she was an avid animal lover, always advocating for the well-being of creatures great and small. Known for her infectious smile, Brenda had a gift for brightening any room she entered. Her generous spirit and genuine care for others will be remembered fondly by all who knew her .Preceding Brenda in death were her husband, Robert Black of Advance, NC; her parents, Carl Ray Webster and Norma Jean Hollar Webster of Harmony, NC; her brother Larry Webster of Statesville, NC; her sister Debbie Queen of Harmony, NC; and her brother Timothy Webster of Salyersville, KY. 

Brenda is survived by her sister-in-law, Linda Webster of Earlville, NY, along with several nieces and nephews who cherished her dearly.

In keeping with Brenda's wishes, no services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Iredell County Animal Shelter, honoring her lifelong love for animals. Brenda's gentle soul and loving heart will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
