Candice Robin Bowles

Candice Robin Bowles, born on December 6, 1955, in Iredell County, NC, passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on January 4, 2026, in Huntersville, NC. Her departure was as gentle as her spirit, leaving behind a legacy of love and song that will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Candice was a woman whose heart sang with the melodies of old gospel hymns. Her soul resonated with the timeless tunes of Elvis Presley, and she could effortlessly recount every lyric, embodying the passion and joy that music brought into her life. A devoted member of Taylor Springs Baptist Church, Candice found community and solace within its walls, where her faith flourished and her voice uplifted those around her.

Though her journey on this earth has ended, Candice's spirit remains vibrant in the hearts of her surviving family and friends, especially her loving niece, Tonda Bowles Rappe, along with numerous others who were touched by her warmth and kindness. She is now reunited with her beloved parents, Lex Eugene Bowles and Sybil C. Mayberry Bowles, as well as her brothers, Lowell Gene Bowles, Bryon Barry Bowles, and Eric Neal Bowles, who preceded her in death.

A graveside service celebrating Candice's life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Taylor Springs Baptist Church, located at 443 Taylor Springs Rd., Union Grove, NC 28689. Pastor Allen Mullins will officiate the service, honoring her memory and the indelible impact she left on all who knew her.
