Casey Lynn Streich, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on February 27, 2026, in Winston Salem, North Carolina, at the age of 26. He was born on May 10, 1999, in New Ulm, Minnesota, and brought joy to all who knew him.
Casey was a graduate of North Iredell High School, class of 2018. Following his graduation, he pursued a career as a truck mechanic, where his passion for diesel mechanics shone brightly. His skills and dedication earned him respect and admiration from his colleagues and friends alike.
Beyond his professional life, Casey cherished spending time with his family outdoors. Friday night Daddy /Daughter Date nights. Special times spent with the kids, making memories. He found peace and joy in fishing, working cows on the family farm, and embarking on Marketplace expeditions with his brother Cody. These pursuits allowed him to connect deeply with nature and his loved ones.
Casey is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Streich; maternal grandparents, Harold and Norma Beyer; and uncle, Sheldon Schuelke.
He is survived by his wife, Kelsey Jones Streich, his children, Hadley Widenhouse and Malakai Jones. He will be dearly missed by his parents, Quinten and Donna Streich; his siblings, Cody Streich and Courtney Streich; and his grandmother, June Streich. Casey is also survived by his mother-in-law, Deborah Stone; his nephew, Colton Streich; and nieces, Elle Streich and Madalyn Gantt.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Casey’s life. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Nicholson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home.
Casey Lynn Streich's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His spirit, laughter, and warmth will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all.
