Danny Slone

Danny Slone, age 76, of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at his home. He was born on November 13, 1964, in Grundy (Buchanan County), Virginia. Danny was a Veteran of the United States Army having received the Purple Heart two times while serving in the Vietnam War.

One could describe Danny as a dedicated and hard worker who had a passion for hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his six siblings. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Donald and Danielle; his siblings, Jeff, Kay and Ella; and his nephews, Brian Shane Bates, Bobby Bates, and Wayne Slone.

A private Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
