Diann Millsaps Myers, 76, of Statesville, died Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 2, 1947, to the late William Parks Millsaps and Sarah Hope Millsaps. Also preceding her in death was a grandson, David Barnette.

Diann was a talented artist and owned and operated her stained-glass business for many years. She enjoyed the slumping and molding of the glass as she created many beautiful works. She also enjoyed watercolors, flower, and vegetable gardening. Diann was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Jerry Stevenson, two daughters, Athena Barnette (Michael), LeAndra Weaver (Samuel), grandchildren, Josiah Barnette, Emma Grace Mamun (Kaiser), Nathaniel Barnette (Kelli), Sadie Barnette, Benjamin Barnette, Allie Weaver, Mahala Grant (Austin), Zachary Weaver (Sophia), a brother, Arnold Millsaps (Deraine) and a sister, Regina Lambert (Don).

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Rocky Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Gray Little officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
