Dora Grace Kahler

Mrs. Dora Grace Hitchcock Kahler, 88, of Statesville, died Monday, February23, 2015 at The Gardens Of Statesville. Born in Meadville, Pa. on April 13, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Chester L. Hitchcock and Edna Smith Hitchcock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Harry R. Kahler, five brothers and three sisters. She was a retired Notary Public in Pennsylvania and a member of the Rebecca Lodge and the V.F.W. Auxiliary for Post # 1031 for over 50 years. Survivors include daughters, Alice K. May (Paul) of Statesville, N.C. and Shirley M. Martin (Henri) of New Orleans, La. Along with a granddaughter and three great grandchildren.
