Elijah Jeffrey Cox, infant, of Statesville, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at Davis Regional Hospital. He was born and died on March 1, 2013 in Iredell County and was the son of Christopher Matthew Cox and Maria Schell Cox. Besides his parents, Elijah is survived by his maternal grandparents, Denny and Becky Schell of Conover, N.C.; and his paternal grandmother, Lilia Rafols Cox of Statesville A private family funeral service will be conducted on Monday, March 4, 2013 and burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
