Faye Sisk

Faye Swicegood Sisk, 80, of Statesville, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Gordon Hospice House. She was born in Rowan County on January 23, 1935 and was a daughter of the late Van Allen Swicegood and Annie Gulliett Swicegood. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack LeRoy Sisk and a son, Jeffrey Lee Sisk. Faye was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a retired C.N.A. from Iredell Memorial Hospital and was in the first graduating class of Personal Assistants at Iredell Memorial in 1970. She enjoyed playing bingo and embroidery. Survivors include a son, Victor Allen Sisk and a daughter, Cindy Souther, both of Statesville, 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Services celebrating her life will be conducted at 11:00 Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Monticello Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Henderson and Rev. Beau Mills officiating.
