Frozzie Coble

October 18, 1925 — December 2, 2010

Ms. Frozzie "Pete" Ajalia Brown Coble age 85, of Statesville passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the Gordon Hospice House. Ms. Coble was born on October 18, 1925 in Davie County to the late Will and Frozzie Grimes Brown. Ms. Coble attended Cooleemee high school and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cooleemee. Ms. Coble was a member of the Senior Citizen Club of Davie County and was retired from Hane's in Winston-Salem. Ms. Coble loved her son's dogs and enjoyed cooking. Frozzie Ajalia Brown Coble is survived by her son, Scott Coble of Statesville and a sister, Ruby Tutterow of Mocksville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews including her favorite nephew, David Tutterow and a special friend, Roger Jenkins. In addition to her parents, Ms. Coble was preceded in death by four brothers, Hubert, Chuck, Jack and Bob Brown and a nephew Kyle Tutterow A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2010 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Forbes and Rev. Tom Corbell officiating. A private family burial will be held at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Mooresville. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Youth Fund at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 1491, Mooresville, NC 29115. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Frozzie Coble.
