Homer Lee Bustle, 75, of Statesville, a quiet man known for his dedication and perseverance, was born on May 6, 1950, in Iredell County, North Carolina. He peacefully departed this life on December 22, 2025, at Autumn Care of Statesville, following a lengthy decline in health.

Throughout his life, Homer worked in maintenance, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a passion for hands-on projects. He was particularly fond of fishing and hunting, finding joy in the tranquility of nature and the satisfaction of working on various tasks.

Homer is survived by his beloved family, including his daughter, Barbara Bustle; son, Donald Bustle; brother, Jimmy Bustle; sister, Annie Ballaugh (Matt); and two cherished grandchildren, Thomas and Jason. He is preceded in death by his father, Dallas Bustle, and mother, Mittie Dishmon Bustle.

A visitation in memory of Homer Lee Bustle will be held on December 26, 2025, at Nicholson Funeral Home in Statesville, North Carolina, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. His family invites all who knew him to come share their memories and pay their respects.
