Jack W. Roach II, a devoted family man, Mason, and educator passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, at the age of 65, with his wife by his side.
Jack was born on March 14 to Jack and Joan Roach. After graduating from Concord University, he realized a rewarding 38-year career in middle school education. Over nearly four decades, Jack taught Science, Math, and History. In the classroom, he was known for commanding order, but he did so with a dedication that earned the lasting respect of his colleagues and students. He took immense pride in crafting unique educational experiences that his students would carry with them long after leaving his classroom.
Beyond teaching, Jack was a man of many talents and interests. He loved working with his hands and was always tinkering with various projects. He possessed a lifelong love for collecting sports cards, a hobby from his youth that he had recently reunited with. Jack also dedicated his time to his faith and his community, volunteering at his church and serving as a Master Mason, holding multiple leadership offices within Enterprise Masonic Lodge 752. Above all, Jack will be remembered for his kindness, his caring, his generous spirit, and a keen wit that brought joy to everyone around him.
His legacy lives on through his family. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his children, Laura Blevins, Melissa Roach, and Jack (Trey) Roach III; his cherished grandchildren, Hadley and Maddox Blevins; and his siblings, Cheryl Spencer and Jason Roach. He was reunited in death with his parents.
Jack's life will be honored during a Masonic Rites celebration to be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Enterprise Masonic Lodge 752 at 9569 N North Carolina Hwy 150, Clemmons, NC.
To honor Jack's giving spirit, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be directed to the Masonic Children’s Home, 600 College St., Oxford NC 27565 or to Pancreatic Cancer Research.
