May 30, 1932 — March 21, 2024

Janice Camillia Lawing Thornton, 91 of Statesville, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 21, 2024, with loved ones surrounding her.

She was born in Gaston County on March 30, 1932, to the late Sinclair Lawing and Eunice Broome Lawing, and was also preceded in death by her husband, John William Thornton.
