Jerry Dean Wright

Jerry Dean Wright, 82 of Statesville died Sunday, September 22, 2024, at his home following a brief illness.

He was born in Pageland, South Carolina on November 3, 1941, to the late Pierce Wright and Beulah Summerford. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Wright.

Jerry worked as a supervisor for United Merchants. He loved hunting, guns, and working and painting old cars. He served in the Army Reserves for 23 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include a son, Jerry D. Wright, Jr., two grandchildren, Trenton Wright (Telsey), a granddaughter, Kelsey Wright (Brianna), a great-grandson, Mason Wright, and a sister, Shirley Seacrest (Barry).

A gathering of friends will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
