Joan Theresa Flammer, 63, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026.

Joan was born in Bronx, New York on February 6, 1963 to the late John Milton Flammer and Violet Oswald Flammer.

Joan devoted more than 30 years of her career as an engineering technician before enjoying retirement. In retirement Joan enjoyed playing pickleball and shooting pool, always appreciating the friendly competition and spending time with friends. She treasured spending time with her family and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. One of Joan's greatest joys was her beloved rescue dog, Casper. In 2020, she adopted Casper on her birthday so they could celebrate the special day together each year. Casper became her faithful companion and brought her endless comfort, happiness, and unconditional love.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Diane, Debbie, John and Linda.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Nicollette Wodecki ( Adrian) and Alexandra Metaxas; brother , Mike Flammer and sister Lois Costa.

A gathering of friends will be held at Nicholson Funeral Home Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 10AM till 12PM and later that day from 4PM till 6PM.
