She was born June 26, 1936, to Kirus and Lettie Mae Page. She retired from Owen-Illinois Glass Company. In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by her husband Ralph C. Barnes. She is survived by her son Bobby G. Smith (wife Mary Beth); daughter Cheryl Jefferies; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston-Salem at 11:00AM Friday, March 25, 2022. She was loved very much and will be missed greatly
