John Everett Gillespie, 71, of Lexington, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020. He was born March 25, 1949 to Earl Heneritta Fox. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gillespie is preceded in death by his brother, Elmer Fox and sister Verlie Sue Fox. John is survived by his children, John Tina Gillespie, Marla David Rauch; fiance, Patricia Sue Addair; sisters, Lou Shavver Sparks, Carol Larry Whitt; brothers, Charles Mary Fox, Junior Darlene Fox, and Dean Kathy Fox; grandchildren, Micah, Shelby, Megan, Tyler, Kristy; great grandchildren, Starla, Ella, Ethan, Maverick; a host of nephews, nieces, friends and his poker buddies. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services for Mr. Gillespie will be at held later.
