John Quince Benfield, Jr.

John Quince "Junior" Benfield, Jr., 77, of Statesville died Monday, March 5, 2018 at Davis Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Benfield was born October 25, 1940 in Iredell County and was the son of the late John Quince Benfield, Sr. and Maude Tomlin Benfield. He attended schools in Iredell County and was a lifelong farmer.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and his caretaker and friend, Robert Hefner. He was preceded in death by one brother, James Ralph Benfield.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2018 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will visit with friends following the service. www.nicholsonfunerals.com
