Joseph Salvatore Prizzi

Mr. Joseph Salvatore Prizzi, 84, of Troutman, died Friday, July 13, 2018 at his home. Born in Kensington, CT. on January 11, 1934, he was a son of the late Salvatore Prizzi and Mary Ellen Lucco Prizzi. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church. He enjoyed wood working, boating and his time with the Golden Boys Group. He was a retired owner-operator of a sewing machine sales and service company.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Anthony Prizzi.



Survivors include his wife, the former Cecile Rita Bouchard, a son, Joseph Michael Prizzi, a daughter, Rosanne Mary Dunbar (Peter), step sons: Michael Eugene McKinney (Nancy), Louis Anthony Cesario (Maureen) and Thomas Charles Cesario and step daughters: Joan Arlene Werning (James) and Linda Regan (John) along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.



Services celebrating Joseph's life will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church with Pastor Will Dulin officiating. Military rites will be presented by the North Iredell American Legion Post # 113 Burial Detail. The family will then greet friends in the church fellowship hall.
