Joyce Isenhour Josey

Joyce Marie Isenhour Josey, 88, passed away on December 05, 2025 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC. Joyce was born on July 29, 1937 in Statesville, NC

Joyce was a member of Temple Baptist Church and the widow club at the church. She had worked as a Sewer and was retired from Leonard's Manufacturing for many years.

Her favorite interest was that she loved taking care of her family and friends, cooking, and reading.

She is preceded in death by Ethel Bost Isenhour (Mother), Clarence A. Isenhour (Father), Richard Josey (Spouse). Son, Eric Josey and daughter, Donna Josey, brothers. Clifton and Kermit Isenhour, sisters, Martha Isenhour Merrill and Judy Isenhour Rivera and grandchildren; Erin Coley and Haley McNiel.

Joyce is survived by children Debra Josey McNiel and (Todd) of Stony Point, NC; Tami Josey Coley of Statesville, her son; David R. Josey, II of Statesville, her brothers; Dwight Isenhour and Gary Isenhour of Statesville, sisters; Sylvia Isenhour Sipes of Statesville and Karen Isenhour of Statesville and her loving grandchildren; Sara Coley Ishikawa (Nori), Jeremy Coley, Shane Josey (Hannah) and Anthony McNiel. Also, a daughter- in- law, Lisa Josey. Two great grandchildren, Isabelle and Dominic Josey.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 10, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm at the funeral home and a funeral service will be held Wednesday December 10 at 1:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Tevepaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Park in Statesville, NC.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
