Jacob Partee "JP" Rector, 81, of Statesville, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014, after a lengthy struggle with heart problems. He was born in Alexander County on November 4, 1932, son of the late Ernest Rector and Bulah Icenhour Rector. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Rumple Rector and step daughter, Janie Christopher along with five brothers and two sisters. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved fianc
