Juanita Kaye Benge

Juanita Kaye Benge passed away on Thursday, February 05, 2026 at Autumn Care of Statesville. She was preceded in death by her father George Wesley Haire, and mother Nola Mae Horton Haire. She is also preceded by four half brother and sisters.

Kaye was born in Iredell County on October 31, 1944. She graduated from Cool Springs School in 1962 and attended Mitchell College where she studied Business Administration. She was employed by Iredell Memorial Hospital in the Insurance Department for 47 years where she supervised for  a number of years. 

On May 7, 1977 she married Charles Wayne Benge who preceded her in death on October 15, 2022.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Abilene Church of Christ beginning at 2:00 pm.
