Kathryn Morrow Goodman

Kathryn Morrow Goodman, 91 of Taylorsville died Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Valley Nursing.

She was born in Iredell County on August 2, 1932, to the late Fred Morrow and Katie Poole Morrow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Goodman and two sisters, Betty Morrow and Mary Sherrill.

Kathryn was a member of Troutman Baptist Church for many years. She taught the 4- and 5-year-olds Sunday School Class for several years. Kathryn enjoyed puzzles, word searches, and reading, especially magazines.

Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Karen Conley and her husband, Howard “Joe” Conley, a son, Barry Goodman, two grandchildren, William Conley (Valerie), Nora Conley Atkins (Jason), two great-grandchildren, Liam Atkins and Kathryn “Katy” Atkins, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Iredell Memorial Gardens at 11:00 am. Kathryn will Lie In State on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Nicholson Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
