Katie Lee Lytton, 52, of Statesville, born on October 7, 1973, in Yadkin County, North Carolina, passed away on October 8, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health. A kind-hearted soul, Katie was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend who touched the lives of all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Katie had worked in vehicle detailing at Statesville Auto Auction, and other jobs, where her infectious personality and passion left a lasting impression on her colleagues and clients alike. A proud graduate of West Iredell High School, Katie carried the spirit of her education and community with her throughout her life.

Those who knew Katie would agree that she had a remarkable ability to love people fiercely. She brought joy and laughter to many, often through her playful sense of humor and joyful spirit. Katie’s love extended beyond her friends and family; she had a special fondness for animals, particularly her cherished kitten, Cindy. Her love for children was evident in the way she embraced her role as a loving "auntie," always ready to share her warmth and kindness. Katie was of the Baptist faith and attended Clarks Chapel Baptist Church.

Katie had a keen sense of style, often adorned in her favorite cheetah print, which mirrored her unique personality. She found joy in simple pleasures, such as enjoying meals out and spending time with those she cared about deeply.

Katie is survived by many friends, family, and loved ones, including her special friend, Isaac Bines, and her godmother, Cathy Grimes. She joins in eternal rest her father, Gary Douglas Lytton; mother, Mary Macemore Parrish; sister, Wendy Lytton; brother, Scottie Lytton; as well as her aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

A graveside service to honor and remember Katie will be held on October 14, 2025, at Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville, NC. The service will begin at 3:00 PM with a gathering of family and friends to celebrate a life filled with love and laughter. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the light she brought into the world.
