Kelly Mark Kellam, Sr., age 62, of Randleman, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Cone Health Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, NC. Born on October 12, 1960, in Greensboro, NC, he was the son of Peggy Capps Millikan and the late James O. Kellam, Sr.
Kelly loved music and had a passion to play the drums as well as other instruments. He played in various bands and served in the Music Ministry of his church, His Place Ministries. Kelly could be described by family and friends as a "doer, a man who could fix anything."
He was preceded in death by his father, James O. Kellam, Sr. Left to cherish his memory include his mother, Peggy Capps Millikan; his children, Katherine "Katie" Casad, Kelly Mark Kellam, Jr., Crystal Beckner, and Jennifer Beckner; many grandchildren; his brothers, James "Jimmy" O. Kellam, Jr., and Todd Andrew Kellam and his wife, Krystal; one niece; and three nephews.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at His Place Ministries in Randleman, NC. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Guilford Memorial Park. Nicholson Funerals & Cremations, Thomasville Chapel has the honor of serving the family.
