Lavonne Galliher

Lavonne Jordan Galliher, 96, loving wife, mother and grandmother went to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Brookdale Assisted Living (Peachtree) where she was a resident for more than 7 years.
She was born in Iredell County on September 13, 1927 to the late William Marshall and Nancy Greene Jordan and was the youngest of 10 children. 
Lavonne, also affectionately known as Bonnie by many of her relatives, attended Iredell County Schools. She was married to Clyde Jurney Galliher who preceded her in death on August 11, 1999. They were married 50 years at the time of his passing. She was a member of Monticello Methodist Church.
Mrs. Galliher is survived by one son, Terry Galliher (Sandy) of Statesville, 2 grandsons, Zachary Galliher of Charlotte and Aaron Galliher (Anne) of Raleigh. She was a special soul to everyone who knew her, she loved God, and her family was the light of her life. She is further survived by one sister-in-law, Etta Lou Weatherman of Cary and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:45 Friday at Nicholson Funeral Home with Rev. Anne Galliher and Rev. Charlie Patrick officiating, The family will greet friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 at the funeral home and burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff of Brookdale Assisted Living and Hospice of Iredell County for caring for their loved one.  
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Monticello Methodist Church, 308 Island Ford Rd., Statesville, N.C. 28625 or to Hospice And Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, N.C. 28625. 
Nicholson Funeral Home is entrusted with the service to the family.
