Linda Faye Bass Dingler

Linda Faye Bass Dingler, 78, of Statesville, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

 Born on December 30, 1946 in Iredell County, NC she was the daughter of the late Grover Bass and Hazel Murdock Bass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Dingler and a brother, Thomas Bass.

Linda was a retired sales representative from Metlife Insurance. She faithfully attended Forest Park Presbyterian Church. Linda found great joy in the simple pleasures — gardening beautiful flowers, cooking meals for loved ones, and making cherished memories during her many trips to Tybee Island.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Lynn (Beth) Dingler and Lorin (Lori) Dingler; her beloved partner of 35 years, Steve Henson; and her adored grandchildren, Logan Dingler, Lindsey Dingler, and Landon Dingler. Her warmth, kindness, and strength will live on through each of them.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Nicholson Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Wallace officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
