Linda Fisher Halverson

Linda Lou Fisher Halverson, 76 of Statesville died Monday, October 14, 2024, at her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Sauk County, Wisconsin on June 7, 1948, to the late Stan Fisher and Brownie Faun Zinke. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Fisher.

Linda was a member of Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church where she was involved in the Prayer Shawl Ministry. She loved sunrises, sunsets, going to the beach, cooking and baking, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 53 years, Lee Halverson, a daughter, Michelle Halverson (Gene Sigmon) of Statesville, and a sister, Mary Keckler, of Florida.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11:00 am at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church.
