Loretta Jane Minton Anders, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, in her hometown of Statesville, North Carolina. She was 70 years old.
Born on July 16, 1955, in Statesville, Loretta lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep devotion, and a generous heart. A proud graduate of North Iredell High School, Class of 1973, she carried her strong work ethic and dedication into a career that spanned 41 years as a Medical Records Clerk at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Her commitment to her work reflected the care and integrity she brought to every part of her life.
Loretta found joy in the gentle and meaningful moments—watching butterflies, camping trips to Dollywood with her family, and long afternoons spent playing Mancala with her daughter, Rachel. These moments, simple yet full of love, became treasured memories that will be carried forward.
A devoted member of Living Word Ministries, Loretta’s faith was lived out through kindness, compassion, and a steady presence that brought comfort to others. She embodied grace in both joy and hardship, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Irene Baldwin and James Roy Minton, and her sister, Barbara Ingool.
Loretta is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Roger Anders; her daughter, Rachel Lynn Anders; her sisters, Diane (David) Lewis and Angela (Rodney) Warricks; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Eddie) Hines and Nancy (Steve) Curley; her brother-in-law, Bill Ingool; along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A service to celebrate Loretta’s life will be held at Living Word Ministries, 347 Jennings Road, Statesville, NC 28625. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow the service. Pastor James Lewis will officiate.
Loretta’s warmth, faith, and quiet love touched more lives than she ever realized. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the work she devoted herself to, and the countless hearts she gently shaped.
