Maude Lou Ramsey

Maude Ramsey, 75, of Statesville, NC passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Maude loved family above all else, and her greatest love was her husband, David Vail.

She enjoyed being an educator, traveling, and crafting. She was of the Church of God Pentecostal faith.  A true nomad at heart, she is now soaring into her new adventure.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Lorilee Sidden (Richard Sidden); grandchildren, Caitlin, Jacob, Alyssa, Pleiades; brothers Peter and Lazarus, and many more family and friends whose lives she touched.
