Melinda Moore Paulk

Melinda Moore Paulk, 68, of Statesville, died Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Iredell County on December 10, 1954, to Kathryn Carter Moore and the late Minor Adams Moore. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Joe Ellen Moore Fox.

Melinda was a 1973 graduate of Statesville High School. She went on to Forsyth Hospital Nursing School and then to Charlotte Memorial School of Nurse Anesthesia, where she earned her Master’s degree with the CRNA accreditation. She spent more than thirty years in Nursing and Anesthesia.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving partner of 8 years, Joe Beaver, of the home, two sons, Dr. Andrew “Drew” Paulk of Beaumont TX, Joseph Paulk of Poland, a daughter, Katie Paulk of Montgomery, AL, three grandchildren, Ember, Finley and Caiden, and a sister, Kathy Jicks (Richard) of TX.

A Service to celebrate Melinda will be held at a later date in Alabama.
