Michael Pasquale Joseph DiNardo, 70, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, July 27, 2026.

Born on March 29, 1956, in Rome, New York, Michael was the son of the late Joseph and Antoinette DiNardo. He was raised in a close-knit family and carried the values of hard work, loyalty, and love for family throughout his life.Miichael graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1975 and later attended Mohawk Valley Community College. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge following his military service from 1981 to 1985.From an early age, Michael developed a strong work ethic while working in the family business, Maplecroft Nurseries. He went on to build a respected career with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge 641, where he was known as a dedicated and dependable worker who took pride in his profession.Outside of work, Michael found joy in the simple things that mattered most. He loved riding his motorcycle, hiking, spending time outdoors, target practicing, and caring for his beloved dogs. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family. His quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering love for those closest to him will be remembered always.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Antoinette DiNardo.He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brothers, Pat DiNardo (Brandi) and Joseph DiNardo (Elaine); his sister, Maria Ramos (Tim); his nieces and nephews, Jason Coleman (Adrian), Britany Hindmarch (Dustin), Shanlyn Price (Justin), Tiffany Peck (Fredrick), Nicole DiNardo, and Timothy Ramos; his great-nieces, Antoinette and Addison Price; along with many extended family members, friends, and all who were fortunate to know him.

The family will hold a private burial at Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Saving Grace Animals for Adoption in 13400 Old Creedmoor Road Wake Forest, North Carolina 27587, in Michael's memory.
