Nancy Williams Little, of Olin, born on August 15, 1940, in Mooresville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her residence on July 24, 2025, following a brief illness. She was a cherished member of her community and an inspiring figure to all who knew her.

Nancy dedicated 21 years of her life to serving as a rural mail carrier, where she fostered connections with many residents. Her commitment to her work reflected her deep sense of responsibility and passion for helping others. An alumnus of Troutman High School, she furthered her education at Queens College, enriching her knowledge and skills throughout her life.

Throughout her journey, Nancy remained a devoted member of Zion Baptist Church, where she drew strength from her faith and built lasting friendships.

She had a myriad of interests that brought her joy, including reading and playing computer games. Nancy had a special affinity for lighthouses, and this love translated into her creative pursuits as an avid cross-stitcher and great seamstress. Her talent in crafting not only filled her own life with beauty but often created heartfelt gifts for friends and family, showcasing her generous spirit.

Nancy is survived by her son, Terry Hobbs, Sr. (Paula), and her daughter, Susan Coleman (Michael). She held a special place in the hearts of her seven grandchildren: Michelle Hobbs, Robert Denton (Kathy), Brandon Moore, Kathryn Hobbs-Rettig (Paul), Terry "TJ" Hobbs, Jr. (Shannon), Benjamin Hobbs, Chris Hardin (Michelle), as well as her ten great-grandchildren: Emma, Tyler, Jackson, Hunter, Tarver, Charlie, Paisley, Lainey, Myah, and Caylah. She is also survived by her sister, Pat Summers (Jim).

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Williams, her mother, Callie Parker Williams, her son, Richard Hobbs, and two brothers and their wives, Freddie Williams and Julia, and Bobby Williams and Francis. Her legacy of love and laughter will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Berea Baptist Church, located at 1015 River Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28117, on July 30, 2025 at 11:00 am with Rev Joey Tomlin officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service in the fellowship hall, providing an opportunity for all whose lives she touched to gather in remembrance of her spirit and contributions. Burial will be private.
