Nancy Margaret Puczylowski, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, in Statesville, North Carolina at the age of 79. Born on May 27, 1946, in Cook County, Illinois, Nancy lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication to her family.

Nancy found joy in every corner of her life. Her career as a drapery salesperson at J.C. Penney was marked by her commitment and warmth, making a lasting impression on both her colleagues and clients. But it was her passions outside of work that truly defined her. Nancy loved to travel and found solace in the beauty of nature. She cherished her visits to Mackinac Island in Michigan and Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, and she was especially fond of exploring the majestic views along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Her heart was never far from her home, where she nurtured both her family and her garden with equal care. Nancy's baking, particularly her Christmas cookies, brought smiles to all who were fortunate enough to enjoy them. Every holiday season, she and her devoted husband, Virgil, would create enchanting Christmas Villages, leaving a legacy of warmth and love for their family to treasure.

Nancy's life was a testament to the power of love and faith. A member of the Catholic faith, she lived her values through kindness and generosity. Her family was her greatest pride and joy. She is survived by her loving husband, Virgil Puczylowski; her daughters, Amy Puczylowski and Pamela P. Gabler and her husband Brock; her brother, David Kral; her sister, Diane Sampson; and her cherished granddaughter, Evelyn.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Louise Maslankowski Kral, and her brother, William "Bill" Kral, Nancy now rests in peace alongside them.

In remembering Nancy, we honor a life well-lived, full of love, laughter, and inspiration. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a spirit that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her warmth and kindness will be dearly missed but forever remembered.
