Nathaniel Sherrill, aged 14, of Statesville, North Carolina, passed away on November 4, 2026, in his hometown where he was born on February 20, 2012.

Nathaniel was a kind and gentle soul with a big heart. He was known for his generosity, always willing to give anything he had to those around him. A sweet and thoughtful young man, Nathaniel brought joy to the lives of his family and friends.

He had a passion for gaming and enjoyed watching television shows such as Rick and Morty, Demon Slayer, and Invincible. Music also held a special place in his heart; he loved the songs "Godzilla" and "Hey There, Delilah."

Nathaniel is lovingly remembered by his father, Jonathan Sherrill; his mother, Stephanie Shires Sherrill; his sisters, Amellia Lamira Faith Sherrill and Amara Lamira Faith Sherrill; his grandparents, Joanne and Michael Meadows, Tim Sherrill, and Kristen White; his great-grandmother, Penny White; and his aunt, Taylor Sherrill.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at Nicholson Funeral Home in Statesville on Wednesday, November 11th, 2026 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.  Funeral service and burial information are still pending.

Nathaniel’s warmth, kindness, and generous spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
