Ollie Elizabeth Martin

Ollie Elizabeth Martin, 89, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026.

Ollie was born in Morganton, North Carolina to Mr. and Mrs. Smith on June 12, 1936. Ollie married Mr. Edward Martin , they spent many happy years together before his passing. Ollie was a loving mother and devoted grandmother and great grandmother whose life was a reflection of faith, strength, and unconditional love. She dedicated herself to her family, always placing their needs above her own and offering steady guidance and support. Her faith was the cornerstone of who she was. Strong in her love for the Lord, Ollie lived her beliefs daily through kindness, compassion, and quiet strength. She found comfort and joy in prayer and trusted God wholeheartedly, even in life’s most challenging moments. She will be dearly missed and forever held in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward Martin; and two brothers.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lois Head; sons, Donald Martin ( Rhonda), Charles Martin and Thomas Martin; brother, Andy Wisemen; sister, Nancy Leonard ; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
