Raymond Glen Shaw, aged 83, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, at his home, surrounded by loved ones, in Harmony, North Carolina. Born on May 10, 1943, in Harmony, Raymond lived a full life characterized by dedication to his family and the land he called home.

Raymond spent his working years as a farmer, embracing the hard yet rewarding life that farming demands. He was a hard worker who lived a simple life, never desiring anything fancy. His days were filled with the satisfaction of honest labor and the joy of creation, which he also expressed through his love of woodworking.

He cherished the moments spent with his family, finding great delight in being surrounded by his loved ones. His legacy is one of love, simplicity, and a deep connection to his roots in Harmony.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Robert Glen Shaw,his mother, Mattie Hendricks Shaw; snd sister, Betty Sue Shaw.. He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Anna Campbell Shaw; his two daughters, Kelly Hampton (Dean) and Rachelle Emory (Scott); and his grandsons, Mitchell Hampton (Kirsten), Nicholas Hampton (Ally), Andrew Emory (Olivia), and Ethan Emory (Kayden). He was also blessed with a great-grandson, Miles Hampton. Among the family's beloved pets, Ace the Bulldog held a special place in Raymond's heart, along with all of his grand dogs.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Hebron Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, where Raymond will be laid to rest. Pastor Darren Johnson will be officiating.

Raymond's steadfast spirit, humble nature, and dedication to those he loved will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
