Richard Charles Brandenburg

Richard Charles Brandenburg, 82, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024. 

He relocated his family to North Carolina from Illinois in 1980 for work and to be closer to his wife’s family. He spent almost 40 years working as a machinist and quality control engineering the hydraulics industry. Richard was a dedicated family man and is a great example of perseverance, creating a great life for himself and his family. If you knew him you knew he loved old cars, playing golf, and telling stories from his youth. His sense of humor will be missed. 

Richard is preceded in death by his loving wife Linda Brandenburg. He is survived by his sons Scott Brandenburg and Michael Brandenburg, and his two granddaughters Ella and Addison Brandenburg.

The family will hold a gathering of friends and family at Nicholson Funeral Home on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 5 PM till 7 PM.
