Ronald "Rick" Johnson

Ronald Rickie Johnson “Rick”, 71,went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, September 22, 2025.

He passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and two children. Rick was born in Iredell County, North Carolina on September 24, 1953 to the late. Luther Johnson and Jean Little Johnson. He was married to the love of his life, Patti, for 47 years. Their marriage was a true partnership built on love and faith. He was part owner and operator of Statesville Carpet, Inc. Rick served faithfully as a deacon at South River Baptist Church for many years, offering guidance, leadership and heartfelt support to his church family. Later becoming a member at Beulah Baptist Church. 

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Patricia Crawford Johnson “Patti”; daughter, Courtney Seese (Brian); son, Chad Johnson (Stephanie); grandchildren, Autumn, Philip, Marie, Ansley and Andrew; brothers Gary (Linda), Craig (Michelle) and sister Cindy Austin (Tommy). Along with many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM , Monday, September 29, 2025 at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Brian Burgess officiating.
