Scott Barnet

Mr. Scott Barnet, 61, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, February 18, 2013. Mr. Barnet was born July 1, 1951 and was the son of the late Lewis H. and Besa Bledsoe Barnet. Mr. Barnet was a graduate of the University of Central Florida and a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Vietnam. He was a self employed accountant and he worked for several banks in the Statesville area. Mr. Barnet is survived by two brothers, Larry Barnet of The Villages, FL and Carl Holm of Cary, NC along with two sisters, Billie Jo Heil of Franklin, NC and Leida McNollough of Atlanta, GA. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in Bushnell, FL with burial in the National Cemetery in Bushnell.
