Sharron Thompson Krieger

Sharron Thompson Krieger, 83, of Union Grove North, Carolina passed away July, 15, 2025.

Sharron was born February 23, 1942 in Buchanan Michigan to the late James Thompson and Helen Raven Thompson. Sharron graduated from Buchanan High School in 1960. She moved to Kentucky for a few years before returning to Michigan in 1963. She lived in Buchanan and Galie where she worked in the optical field. In 1982 she moved to North Carolina where she did upholstery work. Sharron was a seamstress, crocheted and knitted, she had a fondness for all crafts. Sharron enjoyed making various things and giving them to the people she loved. She loved being outdoors working in the yard and growing flowers. Sharron was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a woman of faith who loved the lord. She was a member of Love Valley Presbyterian Church for many years and also attended Taylor Springs Baptist Church.

Sharron is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sheryl Krieger, son, Timothy Krieger, brothers, Bill Thompson, Jimmy Thompson, Jerry Thompson and Lloyd Thompson .

Sharron is survived by her beloved husband, Orie Krieger; son, Anthony Krieger Timothy Krieger; sister, Elaine Gray; brother, John Thompson ( Karen) ; grandchildren, Amanda, Steven, Sara, Kelsey, Izekiel, and Matthew; great grandchildren, Chloe, Kayden, Jonah and Jalen.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM, Monday, July 21, 2025 at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Allen Mullins officiating.
