Tammy Lyn Wright Hartness

Tammy Lyn Wright Hartness, 51 of Statesville died Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Moses Cone Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born in Cecil County, Maryland to Elaine Keenan Wright, and the late Fred Eugene Wright.

Tammy loved being outdoors and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, fishing, camping, going to the mountains and the beach. She was a great wife, mother and a caring daughter and loved baking cookies. More than anything else, she loved her family and spending time with them.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 31 years, Keith Hartness, a daughter, Morgan Hartness, her mother, Elaine Wright, a sister, Tina Graham (Donnie) of Elizabethton, TN, a brother, Fred Wright, Jr, and her beloved dogs, Charlie and Lucky. She also had a dog, Muffy, who preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 21, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery.
