Timothy Douglas Miller, beloved son, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born on October 19, 1960, in Statesville, North Carolina, Timothy was 65 years old at the time of his passing.

Timothy spent his career working as a loader at JC Penney, where he was known for his dedication and hard work. Outside of his professional life, he was an avid fisherman and hunter, passions that he pursued with enthusiasm throughout his life.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Wilburn Henry Miller, Jr.; his niece, Kimberly Diane Alexander; and his maternal grandparents, Katherine Lilliebelle McKlelland Sharpe Bell and William Carl Sharpe, as well as his paternal grandparents, Wilburn Miller, Sr. and Frankie Lee Douglas Miller.

He is survived by his loving mother, Peggy Sharpe Miller, and his cherished son, Timothy Jason Mowbray. He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Debbie Alexander(Tommy) and Dennis Miller (Michelle), as well as his grandchildren, Timothy Mowbray, Phoebe Mowbray, and Katelyn Summers. His legacy extends to his great-grandchildren, Jackson, Amara, and Axel Willis.

Timothy is also survived by his nieces, June Melissa Alexander, Nikki Burgess, and Brittany Miller, and his nephews, Brian Alexander and Andrew Miller, all of whom will remember him fondly.

No formal services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice in Timothy's honor.

Timothy Douglas Miller will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his strong work ethic. May he rest in peace.
