Vita Mary Harris

Vita Catanzaro Harris, 78, of High Point, NC passed away on March 8, 2021 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 24, 1943, she was the daughter of the late James Catanzaro. Ms. Harris retired from Home Depot after 23 years of service. She had volunteered for Meals on Wheels, enjoyed scrapbooking and shopping on QVC. Her favorite pastime was watching Elvis movies surrounded by her dogs. Ms. Harris will be lovingly remembered by her six children; Joseph Harris (Lisa) of Gaffney, SC, Michael Harris (Christine) of Cowpens, SC, Johanna Morgan of High Point, NC, Adam Harris (Charlotte) of Charlotte, NC, Chris Harris (Elizabeth) of Chesnee, SC, and Jessica Harris of High Point, NC; the lights of her life, her 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 nephew, 4 nieces, 7 great nieces and nephews as well as 2 great-great nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Gasper Catanzaro of Florida. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
